Just thought i would post a little update!! Last week i felt like i was in my own little world trying to study as much as possible!! Last week in Institute we discussed the sabbath day and what it entailed (sp?). Our institute teacher challenged us to try and keep it about the Lord and not study so...Nick and i have made some family goals to work hard on all the days of the week except Sunday! What a blessing! This past week it was harder than ever, because i really could have used an extra day to study... but alas, we held strong and waited until monday morning! I took my test on Monday afternoon and felt pretty confident. Come to find out i made the only 100 in the class! Woo hoo and on tuesday i had another test in which i made a 95... i couldnt be happier! Or more confident in the blessings of keeping the sabbath day holy! I was so nervous about my tests... if i get lower than a 80% on them we risk getting kicked out of the program! So i was seriously stressin... (first tests of the semester are always rough). But now im stress free, at least for a few days. So now... im off to go camping with the Garretts and my most handsome hubby!!! We will post pictures later!

Sylvia
Well due to my chain of unfortunate events with snowball, Nick and I have now made our first BIG purchase together!!! Drum roll please.....
Last weekend we were able to find a pretty descent deal on a 08' Nissan Sentra. After way too much car shopping and a lot of research we decided that this was the car for us. Snowball will most definitely be missed, but we chose a great new car nonetheless.
Due to how much i loved my old car... ive decided to mention a few of my favorite memories about it. A little tribute to Snowball!
1. Before i turned 16 i would sneak out of the house to go and drive it around my neighborhood to practice (cheesy i know)
2. i felt like it was my own little racecar
3. learning how to drive a standard
4. Teaching Nick how to drive a standard ( and watching how embarassed he would get when he killed it)
5. The irony of how so many people liked to jump on the hood of my car! Hopefully we can avoid it with the new car.
6. How it held up so well in my accident!!! Snowball definitely kept me safe!
And a new introduction of our new car! Nick is already getting onto me for leaving things in it... he is Mr. Particular about how clean we keep it. After the first day he already wanted to take it and wash/vacuum it out. He is so cute... this is definitely his new "baby".
Nick and i have a habit of naming things... due to our new car being silver we decided on Sylvia.

OUCH!!!!
So sorry this is a little outdated... but its better late than never. After Nick and I's honeymoon (which i still need to post pictures of) we headed back to Oklahoma for our reception ( also need to put some pictures up) and then Nicholas had to head straight back down to Dallas to finish selling pest control for his last week. I worked a few days in Stillwater and tried to tiddy up our apartment and then joined him down in dallas for his last few days. On Sat i was heading home early to be in Stillwater in time for my boss' wedding reception when right i I-35 near Guthrie some truck decided to switch into my lane. I thought he was going to ram right into me and crash me into the median, so i tried to move out of his way. My car went spinning out of control on the highway and ran into about 8 sand barrels that saved my life!!! After which i went cruisin down a hill and my poor snowball (my car) finally stopped. I was not injured but i cant say that much for my car!!!
RIP Snowball -February 2002-August 2008
